Turan got their start in 1997 as a hunting rifle factory. The Turkish company’s leadership soon recognized a much better opportunity: producing ammunition for export to NATO countries’ commercial markets. In other words, they reckoned they would do well to send 9mm to Americans – a sound business strategy, to be sure, because we need all of it we can get.

This is a standard pressure 9mm cartridge, which contains the double base propellant and 124 grain bullet it needs to meet standard SAAMI specifications for chamber pressure. The full metal jacket delivers target grade accuracy once it leaves the barrel at a rate of 1,214 fps. The FMJ also won’t upset your local range’s management, because the lead-core, brass-jacketed bullet is steel-free and nonmagnetic.
